The REMEDY project stems from the need brought about by demographic changes that require reorganization of health services to manage the growing number of elderly people and the increased prevalence of chronic diseases. REMEDY is a new service that can be customized and integrated into the healthcare organizational model for remote and multiparameter monitoring of the complex and polycomorbid patient.

Specific objectives are to design innovative tools for patient monitoring, engagement and empowerment, develop an innovative wearable, multi-sensor device and an Artificial Intelligence-based Telemedicine platform for clinical data collection and processing.

The Project Team consists of 5 partners: DataRiver S.r.l. (Project Coordinator), CIRI-SDV Interdepartmental Center for Industrial Research Life Sciences and Health Technologies (Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna), MediCon Ingegneria S.r.l, SSD ICT Struttura Semplice Dipartimento Insufficienza Cardiaca e Trapianti (IRCCS Azienda Ospedaliera-Universitaria di Bologna) and the Department of Biomedical, Metabolic and Neuroscience Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
